Who We Are
Electronic Direct GmbH was established in 1995 as a specialist broker serving European OEMs struggling to source end-of-life and long-lead-time semiconductors. Over three decades the business has evolved into a fully certified independent distributor with formalised quality processes, an in-house inspection laboratory and a global sourcing network — while retaining the responsiveness of a privately run specialist.

Sustainability
Responsible sourcing is not a marketing claim at Electronic Direct — it is built into our compliance infrastructure. RoHS and REACH conformity is verified at goods-in as part of the standard inspection workflow. Packaging is reviewed annually for material reduction. Our Putzbrunn fleet has been partially electrified since 2022, with a target of 100% zero-emission last-mile vehicles by 2027.

2004 — Facility Expansion
Expanded footprint in China (Shanghai, Shenzhen) and Canada. Direct access to the primary electronics supply markets to support customers globally.
2007 — ED Systems Founded
Founding of the subsidiary ED Systems, for the consistent expansion of the service portfolio in technical consulting for substitutions and redesigns
